Accessibility
We build Juryline so that applicants, jurors and organisers can use it with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or on a small phone. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Every function works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus.
- Colours meet the AA contrast ratios in light and dark mode. Status is never shown by colour alone.
- Forms have labels, hints and error messages that screen readers announce.
- Pages work at 400 % zoom and on screens 320 pixels wide.
- Animations respect the reduced motion setting.
- The fonts are chosen for legibility, and texts use plain language.
Known limitations
- The jury protocol PDF is not a tagged PDF. The same results are available as an accessible page in Juryline and as CSV and Excel exports.
- Files that organisers and applicants upload are their responsibility.
- The live finale screen for the audience shows the results on a large display; the same results are on the organiser's page.
How we check
We check the main pages with automated accessibility tests and at screen widths down to 320 pixels, and we use every page with a keyboard while building it. This statement was prepared on 30 October 2026.
Tell us about a barrier
If something does not work for you, write to hello@juryline.com. Tell us the page and what happened. We reply within 5 working days and, where we can, offer another way to get the information or service in the meantime.
