Terms of use
1. Who we are
Juryline (juryline.com) is operated by Everlong s.r.o., Zámocká 8, 811 01 Bratislava, Slovakia, company ID 55 271 987, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III, section Sro, insert 167806/B, e-mail hello@juryline.com ("we").
2. What Juryline is
Juryline is software for running calls with a jury: application forms, screening, evaluation by jurors, results and a live finale. It is used by organisations that run awards, competitions, grants, scholarships and similar programmes ("organisers").
Juryline is not a marketplace and not a party to any programme. The organiser sets the rules of its programme, decides about applications and is responsible for the call, the prizes and the communication with applicants. Questions about a programme go to its organiser.
3. Accounts and sign-in
You sign in with your e-mail address and a code we send to it, or with a personal link from an invitation. There are no passwords. Keep access to your e-mail account safe: whoever can read your e-mail can sign in as you.
An organisation's owners decide who belongs to it and in which role (owner, manager or viewer). Whoever creates an organisation confirms that they may act for it.
4. Organisers
As an organiser you:
- run your programmes lawfully and fairly and publish clear rules for applicants and jurors,
- are the controller of the personal data in your programmes; our data processing agreement applies to it and you accept it when you publish a programme,
- tell applicants and jurors how you use their data, in particular through your own privacy notice linked on the call page,
- collect only data you need and do not ask for special categories of data (such as health data) unless the law allows it and you have a reason,
- do not use Juryline for content or calls that are unlawful, misleading or infringe the rights of others.
We may suspend a programme or account that breaks these terms or the law. We tell you why, unless the law forbids it, and give you a chance to respond.
5. Applicants and jurors
Applicants and jurors use Juryline under the rules of the organiser that invited them. Applicants answer truthfully and upload only content they may share. Jurors keep applications confidential, declare conflicts of interest honestly and score independently.
6. Plans and payment
The plans and prices are on the pricing page. Prices are in euros and include VAT. Customers registered for VAT in Slovakia pay the price plus VAT. Paid plans for a programme are paid in advance, by card or by bank transfer against a proforma invoice, and are valid for 12 months from payment. The organiser year is paid by invoice within 14 days; for public bodies that publish contracts in the Central Register of Contracts, it starts the day after publication. Nothing renews automatically.
When a plan ends, the programme stays readable and exportable on the free plan. Money-back guarantee: within 30 days of paying for a plan you can ask for a full refund by e-mail, without giving a reason. We refund the price to the account it came from within 14 days; the plan ends and the programme continues on the free plan. Otherwise fees already paid are not refunded, unless the law requires it or we agree otherwise in writing.
We issue invoices electronically. EU businesses outside Slovakia with a valid VAT ID are invoiced without VAT (reverse charge).
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Juryline available and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may change features; we will not remove a feature you paid for during the period you paid for without offering a fair alternative or a refund for the remaining time.
8. Your content
Content you put into Juryline stays yours. You give us the right to store, process and display it only as far as needed to run the service for you. We do not use applications, scores or other programme content for our own purposes and do not send them to AI services.
9. Liability
We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or by gross negligence without limit. Otherwise our total liability towards an organiser is limited to the fees it paid us in the 12 months before the damage occurred. We are not liable for lost profit or for decisions organisers or juries make with Juryline. Mandatory consumer protection rules remain unaffected.
10. Ending
You can stop using Juryline at any time and ask us to delete your account. Organisers can export and delete their programmes themselves. We may end the service for an organisation with 3 months' notice by e-mail, or without notice for a serious breach of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We tell organisation owners about important changes by e-mail at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you may stop using Juryline before then.
12. Law and disputes
Slovak law applies. Courts in Slovakia have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law gives a consumer another court. Our contact for authorities and users under the EU Digital Services Act is hello@juryline.com; we communicate in English, German, Slovak and Czech.
